There are potential health hazards from improper brewing, sanitation and handling of the cultures. It is very important to remember to keep
everything clean and sanitary.

DO NOT drink the kombucha tea if you question whether it is safe to consume, especially if you find foreign green, black or fuzzy molds on or in your kombucha. Throw it out, and start over. NEVER ATTEMPT TO SALVAGE A SUSPICIOUCS OR MOLDY CULTURE.

Because kombucha is said to have detoxifying effects, the starting daily intake is 4 ounces (one shot) a day. The amount of kombucha consumed may be increased over time.

You should avoid drinking kombucha if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, a diabetic, a recovering alcoholic, or suffer from liver problems.
Kombucha is also not recommended for children under the age of 4. If you are unsure or have questions regarding the consumption of kombucha please consult your health care professional.
